Frequently Asked Questions

Can I extend my stay once I’m there?
In most cases, no. You’ll need to leave the UK before your visa runs out. Extensions are allowed only in rare situations like medical emergencies.
Can I work or study in the UK on this visa?
No, this is just for visiting. You can attend a short course (like a 1-week workshop or class), but you can’t work or study long-term.
Can I visit other countries in Europe on this visa?
No, this visa is only for the UK. If you want to travel to places like France, Italy, or Germany, you’ll need a separate Schengen visa.
What if my visa gets rejected?
You can apply again, no problem! Just try to understand what went wrong in the first application and fix it. There's no official appeal, so a fresh application is usually the best option.
Will I get a refund if my visa is refused?
No, unfortunately the visa fee is non-refundable—even if your application is rejected.
